1998 Auto Salon… First time at the show, people were very impressed with the originality and modification of this Honda Prelude. The Filo Honda Prelude was the main car on the Jetspeed stand following with 10 other cars behind, this is the first full custom kit that Jetspeed ever built. At that time people starting to enquire about the price for a kit but somehow this is one off design kit by FILO…

HOT4’S MAGAZINE REVIEW…
Glenn A. was already taking an unusual tack when he decided to modify a 1989 Prelude 4WS. Until recently they have been a quirky and expensive option, but now at the more affordable form at various shows.
Glenn originally bought the car to keep in stock condition, because his previous car were such cop-magnets. When he dropped into Tempe Tyres for a set of 15-inch rims, he came away with a set of 17s. With standard suspension the car looked like a bit of a 4WD though, so Glenn decided to lower it. He bought the lowered Pedders spring and Bilstein shocks separately, fitting them himself to save money. Unfortunately, the spring had to be swapped and re-tensioned a couple of times before he had the height he wanted.
The nex bunch of parts included a set of Niken pedals, Razo gear knob and Monster Taco.
Apparently, this wasn’t enough because next he bought a Mugen body kit and started looking for someone to help him out to customise it. When he spoke to Li from Jetspeed and Glenn showed Li some sketches, Li was enthusiastic about the project so things got rolling.
The first body kit took four months to complete, with custom front and rear bars side skirts and door panels. the car was sprayed again and 2.5-inch sports exhaust fitted by Hi-Tech mufflers. the car only stayed the same for a month before Glenn decided to modify the kit again. This time it took another three months as the whole kit was modified along with a new custom wing. It was finished and sprayed again by Joe D. in time for the 1998 Sydney auto Salon, with a new twin-tip exhaust system fitted by Tuffy-Toned with custom extractors and a high-flow cat.
The body kit looked wild, but now 17s looked too small due to the size of the spoilers. He ordered the 18-inch rims from Tempe Tyres and while he was waiting for them he went to Cool’s Auto Trim. Glenn ended up sketching the new design for the interior with blue inserts to break up the white. Steve from Cool’s Auto Trim reshaped the front and rear seats with lots of extra padding, as Glenn wanted a ‘bulky’ look. The full retrim took two weeks and due to lack of time Glenn had to install the stereo himself.
The wheels finally arrived a week before the Auto Salon and there’s no doubt about them being big enough. Tempe tyres also came up with the 225/40 Pirelli P-Zero tyres, which have more grip than a terrified driving instructor
Glenn still wants to do some more work on the engine, possibly a turbo, but even now this wildest 4WS Prelude we’ve seen and he is proud of it to be the first modified Honda Prelude 4WS in Australia. Anyone who went to the Nationals 1999 will also know that the car now has a fully-trimmed dash and metallic blue paint over the front half of the car. Now, what was that about not attracting attention…

1999 the first time the Filo Honda prelude recognise is the lowest drivable car in Sydney called 2damlo he won this category for being unique and unbelievable hype just an inch from the ground. [This vehicle came in and out the show not even fitted adjustable suspension]

Year 99 people started having almost same body kit as Filo Honda Prelude but i did some custom add on an adjustable lip for the front bar just to make you look more stylish and aggressive but people still recognise this car is the first custom Honda prelude. People still want to see and sit and take pictures of it for its originality this prelude become popular and the organisers in the auto saloon requested to send this Honda in different states for the Auto Salon shows.

The year 2000 is the best year for car shows. Glenn started to have plenty of competitors people started to modify their Honda Prelude but Glenn decided to surprise them for this year and he knew for the fact that this will happen.
Filo got the custom airbrush and polish wheels and bigger louder sound system and new rebuild powerful engine. If you are an Auto Salon follower you will notice the that the Filo is the first car have a two tone paint since the year 1998 Auto Salon show.
For this year Filo Hond Prelude is the first to have half airbrush car, people were freaking out thinking this guy never run out of new ideas for his car karma people starting to notice and people everywhere approach him for his opinions for their project cars.
Designing cars is another new puzzle for Glenn, all he wanted is to open his own auto repair mechanic shop. Year 2000 I started the ‘Team Jetspeed’, me and few jetspeed friends are up on this new modified car club. Li approved the whole project and people in all different state join to be part of this modified car team. Glenn organised cruises from Sydney to Wollongong, Palm Beach, Bondi Beach and sometimes BBQ near the park. We designs the logo for new look Jetspeed Team and we organised keyrings, badges, stickers, shirts, caps and even a jacket…

Year 2003 is the last year for Filo as a Honda Prelude this Honda Prelude will have a new crib to sleep in, the new owner will pick the prelude soon go out from the showground and it’s sad to hear but hey the up coming Filo car for the next show and hope that would be unique and for sure it will have new ideas to make it better and more attractive car to show.
If it was not for the previous project been delayed so many times and too many promises of James Austin the previous owner of so-called pro colour smash repair, this Prelude would be still rolling down the street looking up and proud. I really wanted to be in for the upcoming 2001 auto salon show but never end up assembled the prelude in time. Then the 2002 Auto Salon James Austin still have not completed the work, I had few ideas and designed to have scissors vertical door for Filo Honda Prelude and I was hoping it will be the first one to have this extensive modification. I did more modifications for his body kit added more style and it’s like a new face lift. I added a new rear adjustable wing and add more stuff on the bonnet especially new paint job.
Of course, the car is not complete without a Fila model named Lisa. She is very happy after she got picked for a photoshoot for Hot4s magazine she does modelling for part-time and full-time Uni Student.
This is a good start for her to be the Fila for Filo photoshoot she got the whole package to be in the photoshoot she knows how to strike a pose in front of the camera man for magazine Hot4s edition and the producer of the magazine was please in her capabilities and styles.
